BRITISH ACTRESS WENDY RICHARD DIES AT 65

Wendy Richard MBE (born Wendy Emerton 20 July 1943 – 26 February 2009) was an English actress best known for playing Miss Brahms in Are You Being Served? and Pauline Fowler in EastEnders. She was first educated at St George's Primary School in Mount Street, before attending the Royal Masonic School for Girls in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, and then at the Italia Conti Academy stage school in London. She died on 26 February 2009 at the Harley Street Clinic, where she was being treated for breast cancer.

THE RONETTES ESTELLE BENNETT DIES

Estelle Bennett, (July 22, 1941 – February 11, 2009) was a member of the girl group The Ronettes, along with her sister Veronica Ronnie Spector (the 'Ronnie' of the band's name) and cousin Nedra Talley. After the Ronettes' 1966 break-up, she recorded a single for Laurie Records, "The Year 2000/The Naked Boy". She then quit the music business and had rarely been seen since. She married the group's road manager Joe Dong, and they had a daughter, Toyin.

He is best known for his the acting role as Clinton "Clint" Buchanan, husband of Victoria "Viki" Lord (played by Erika Slezak) on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live; having originated the character in 1979, portrayed the role through 1998, with recurring stints in 1999, 2003, and 2004.

He was born as Eugene Joseph Carey in Hackensack, New Jersey on on July 15, 1925. A former U.S. Marine, Carey made appearances in films such as This Woman is Dangerous with Joan Crawford (1952) Calamity Jane (1953), Pushover (1954) and Monster (1979).
