Arnold Jacob “Red” Auerbach (September 20, 1917 – October 28, 2006) was the president of the NBA’s Boston Celtics and was its coach from 1950 to 1966, including a stretch from 1959 to 1966 when the Celtics won eight straight NBA Championships.

EX-BOXER TREVOR BERBICK FOUND DEAD

Trevor Berbick (August 1, 1955 – October 28, 2006) was a Jamaican heavyweight boxer whose professional career spanned from 1976 until 2000. He briefly held the WBC version of the heavyweight title in 1986, before losing it to Mike Tyson in his first defense. He is also noted for being the last man to fight Muhammad Ali, winning their 10-round contest in Nassau, the Bahamas on December 11, 1981 by unanimous decision.
